Important Survey Information - keep your eyes peeled!!

Kickstarter have now transferred the funds for the project so production can begin! 

If you could take the time to read the notes below they will explain important dates and also what I need from you.   (: The images of the Jokers are at the end of the email ;)

Backerkit - This is the important bit.

You will receive an email from backerkit in the next few days with a link to their store where they will collect important details from you such as your address for sending your rewards.  Backerkit works in a similar way to a normal online checkout where you will already have your pledged money as credit - if you added extra money to your pledge this is where you will be able to confirm your rewards and also find some extras!  Hopefully you'll see some nice surprices both with pricing and with some additional items such as Uncut Sheets and Prints I've included at a discounted rate to say a big thanks for your support.

If your payment processing was not successful for whatever reason - you will have a chance to claim your pledge through backerkit. Just follow the instructions when you receive your backerkit email where you may also use an alternative payment method if you prefer.

Please note - the backerkit email will be sent to the email address you used when you signed up to Kickstarter - if you signed up using your facebook account the email will go to the address you used for that sign up! your facebook account email address.

If you have any problems when checking out at backerkit please message me through kickstarter and I'll try to sort it for you as quickly as possible. 

So What's Next?

Production!!  - All files for printing were sent to USPCC today for the standard decks so production can begin - this process normally takes about 6-8 weeks. This means standard decks should be ready for May!

Delivery Schedule

I have begun creating the signed limited editioned prints and am going to send these as soon as I receive your surveys so hopefully you should receive these at the beginning of March.

Standard Decks and Cut Sheets will be ready by late May

Collector's editions will be ready sometime in June as they contain the gilded decks so you should expect delivery of your order in June / July

All that remains to be said is that I could not have made this deck if it hadn't been for all your support - from the smallest pledge through to the comissioned artwork for this pack - I can't thank you enough! so without further ado.. Ladies and gentleman, may I introduce to you - the Jokers in your pack. It has been an absolute honour to create these pieces for you wonderful people!!!

In the coming week I will be sending out surveys so that you can complete your pledges and add on any additional items that you would like to your order.   I will be using a system called backerkit to collect all the details which will mean that even those who had payment problems with Kickstarter should now be able to resolve their isuues.

As well as confirming the items you have already pledged for - you will be able to add any additional items as follows, stock permitting!

We are nearly at the end of the kickstarter project so here's a little info about what is coming after!!!.

New items!!!

After the project finishes and kickstarter does it's thing to gather pledges you'll be treated to a checkout through backerkit.. basically this means that you will be able to select any extra items you've pledged from - also you'll be treated to some new backer only exclusives which include the Uncut Sheet ... finally ;) backer discounts! and items not available anywhere else including a special limited edition print.  More details at the checkout!!

I am currently busy painting and sketching the Joker Cards for completion of the deck and I'll be sharing the results as soon as they are ready. 

If you have any questions about the project regarding delivery times etc just fire them below here and I'll add any answers to the FAQ page - 

All that remains to be said is a huge thank you for all your support and I am as excited as you are about seeing the finished deck of cards, both standard and the Collector's Deck!

It's short time I know but unfortunately one of the Joker Comission pledges has had to cancel.  If you would like to include yourself in this deck - please note that there is one space available.  Just a reminder too that the offer is for an original artwork / portrait at £1500, my usual comission price is £3500.

First Look at the Collector's Tuck

Thanks so much for all your patience - I'm learning a lot about producing visuals at the moment!!

 - I've done my best to demonstrate how the collectors tuck will look - the pack will be printed on white stock with blind floral embossing and embossed foil floral detailing.  I hope you like it, thanks again!
